The title is simple. But this product is amazing.
I put it one the day before taking my bike on a great downhill adventure. The enduro bike I have became a downhill slayer with the seat adjustment. Had 30 people ask about it. They all were excited. I am pumped to have this doodad in the bike. It legit makes a huge huge difference for up hill climbing and down hill decent. Love it
Since the invention of the adjustable seat post, this is the best part I have used in years. Easy to assemble and simply brilliant for long tours with lots of climbs. I would have liked to have had this part 20 years ago.
I love putting this into climbing mode for those long uphills. Absolutely works as intended and the feel of riding on a saddle pitched down is amazing.
However, I don't see any real need for descent mode (yet). I often over correct while trying to switch it from climb back to level again, ending up in decent mode.. It's not something you can change in the middle of a rough ride when you need two hands on the bar. At this point, I would love to have a two position version rather than 3.
No, its not “affordable”. That’s because its a beautifully machined and finished precision product that makes any adult pelvis feel completely superior after any ride. Add to that the power increase on climbs and the ass bone joy when park riding. fuhgettaboutit.
Quality, looks and operation are top quality. Haven’t had a chance to ride it yet, but have every confidence it will make a big difference in comfort and performance. The type 2 did not fit the 2023 X-fusion manic, pic 1, so I printed a TPU spacer matching the contours needed, dropped the drop tube 1/2" and installed the SwitchGrade. Looking forward the riding as soon as temps here drop below 90.
