How To Operate A SwitchGrade

SwitchGrades are precision-machined components engineered to exacting tolerances. To ensure safe operation, optimal performance, and long-term durability, each model should be used and maintained with proper care.

Read carefully to understand how to operate your SwitchGrade PRO or SwitchGrade EVO below.

SwitchGrade PRO

Before operating the SwitchGrade Pro, ensure you are either stopped and safely off your bike, or not seated with your full weight on the saddle.

CAUTION! Do not attempt to operate the SwitchGrade when traveling at higher speeds or during excessively technical terrain, whether ascending or descending (ie lots of rocks, roots, steep grades etc), or you risk serious damage to your property or serious injury or death.

The SwitchGrade is equipped with Aenomaly's exclusive Loc8 mechanical indexing system, providing up to 8 discrete positions separated by 5 degree increments. Loc8 allows you to freely rotate the saddle to your desired position and positively engage the lock quickly and easily.

Step 1. Place the palm of your hand on the nose of saddle and locate the Lever.

Step 2. Pull and hold the Lever up to disengage the lock, then rotate the saddle until you find your desired position.

Step 3. Release the Lever to establish angle position, then allow the lock to engage until you feel and hear a click.*

*VERY IMPORTANT!

You must ensure a positive lock has been established. Do not place your full weight on the saddle until a positive lock has been established. You will hear an audible click and feel haptic feedback through the SwitchGrade and saddle as the locking mechanism engages.

CAUTION!

When tilting into the furthest positions (either forward all the way or backward all the way), allow the locking mechanism to engage properly before you resume riding. Failure to ensure a positive lock may cause damage to your SwitchGrade.

SwitchGrade EVO

Before operating the SwitchGrade EVO, ensure you are either off your bicycle or not fully seated with your entire weight on the saddle.

WARNING: Do not attempt to operate the SwitchGrade when traveling at speed or during excessively technical terrain, whether ascending or descending (ie lots of rocks, roots, steep grades etc), or you risk serious damage to your property or serious injury or death.

Step 1. Place palm of your hand on the nose of saddle and locate SwitchGrade Lever.
Step 2. Pull and hold the Lever up to disengage the lock, then tilt to locate desired position.
Step 3. Release the Lever until the lock re-engages. You will feel and hear a click.
