Definetly does what they advertise it does. I wanted one for a long time and got out on my first ride on it, and it’s awesome. No more perineal pain, better pelvic tilt resulting in less hip pain, able to put more power down. Tilting it all the way back is so useful too, improved butt to seat clearance and looks rad. Super nasty PNW sloppy day and the muck and mud don’t affect its operation either.
I bought it for the nose up “dh style” and it does exactly what you need, a perfect position for steeps and jumping for better position for knee control than when level. I’m surprised as how much difference the nose down for climbing makes and I use it for mellow climbs as well and have almost cleaned steep climbs that I have never got near previously.
Reading the info I chose to add the shim for when on slacker seat angles (xl 2019 Intense Primer with 160 travel Lyric) and just as well as I did as it was needed.
I was hesitant to buy but after 2 rides it is already obviously a huge benefit to me up and down
A game changer akin to the advent of the dropper post, mounted on my 2015 rockshox lev DX, some drilling of the seat clamp collar was required to alter the angle of the bolts so that the switchgrade could be installed, some removal of material on the yoke piece at the top of the dropper allowed for a larger range of angle adjustment. Yes it's compatible with older ks lev posts just requires a bit of drilling and grinding

Awesome customer support, I ended up not using it at this time, I purchased a 2025 Fox dropper because the 2021 version is made differently and I didn’t like how it installed/ looked on it. Will probably install again soon on the new dropper
After upgrading from the regular version to the Duo version, it’s much easier to use on the move. Your saddle can only return to the normal riding position after finishing a long climb. I liked it so much I bought a second one for my winter fatbike too!
Absolutely over and above in customer service and information, Noel contacted me personally to help with my setup, unique circumstances, I ended up getting a 2025 Fox Transfer Factory for my Hope HB 130 and Noel told me what adapter I needed for that particular device, have not had a chance to ride with it but they got your back if you need help!💯🤙
Got the SwitchGrade Duo recently and now have 5 or 6 rides on it. I really like the ability to tip the nose down for steep climbs and have the saddle flat or slightly tipped up for descents and jumping. The Duo is easy to use, has very smooth action, and locks into place with no slop. It’s been a great upgrade to my trail/enduro bike.

Der Duo ist hochwertig verarbeitet, funktioniert perfekt. Das switchen erfordert etwas Übung. Auf meiner Iridium Canyon G5 Sattelstütze auf einem Canyon Spectral 29“ 2021 hätte ich gerne die Neutralposition etwas mit mehr gesenkter Nase, dazu müsste man noch etwas unterlegen, sollte aber kein Problem sein. Ich muss ehrlicherweise sagen, dass für die Gegend, in der ich wohne, längere Steigungen mit mehr als 12 % nicht so häufig vorkommen (Mittelgebirge), so dass ich mit einer geringeren Neigung besser bedient wäre. Trotzdem ist eine Entlastung des Rückens und im Schritt sehr deutlich spürbar, auch wenn ich dann auf der hinteren Sattelkante sitze. Bei Steigungen ab 12 % jedoch ist das Setup perfekt: ich fühle mich sicherer, muss mich nicht nach vorne beugen, um genügend Druck auf das Vorderrad zu kriegen und dadurch ist die körperliche Belastung viel geringer. Natürlich muss man genauso fit sein und genauso hart rein treten wie ohne den Duo, aber es ist viel komfortabler und ein absteigen. Bei starker Steigung dürfte auch viel sicherer sein.
Das einzige Ärgernis waren 40 € Zoll Gebühren die ich noch zu zahlen hatte. Wäre der Preis unter 150 € gelegen, wären diese nicht angefallen…

Living in Northwest Arkansas there are lots of climbs for all the downhills and the switch grade is a game changer! Can really feel the difference when climbing with more grip from rear tire and less back strain. There IS a learning curve for latch release while moving though. Have already recommended to several friends and relatives.
I recently upgraded my dropper post from the XFusion to 2025 Fox Transfer. The new dropper required an adapter in order to be compatible to my Switchgrade. I contact Team Aenomaly and they were quick to respond with a solution. The adapter was published on their website, and received soon after I placed the order. It's a perfect fit and looks badass!! My Switchgrade is just as important as any other component on my bike! Thanks Team!!!

This is my 2nd unit for another bike. If you ride up hills then for sure this will be awesome, can not recommend enough and as needed as much as a dropper itself.

Fit and finish is amazing and totally worth it, never been more comfortable up a steep climb and makes my bike look way cooler when parked I’m and in “DH” mode

Haven't tried it yet but it looks great you can feel it, not a cheap product.
High quality product in terms of machining and Noel's customer service is excellent both in delivery and responding to questions. I couldn't quite achieve the desired neutral angle on a Fox Transfer v2 but it has proven to be good on steeper gradients. Would ideally like to see perhaps -8, -3 climbing angles to accomodate steep and moderate without forcing the body to far over the bars and keep the same decend angle. Rail fixture is way easier than a regular seatpost.
Unfortunately, the switchgrade didn’t work for me. The trigger would get stuck on the rails of my saddle, making it very difficult to impossible to move from one setting to another. I contacted the company and they were very helpful sending me all sorts of tips and tricks to try different set ups. I still never found the sweet spot.
The product is very well made! A little clunky with the nuts and bolts, but clean, well-cut alloy. The company is responsive and great to work with.
Wish it would’ve worked for me, but being really tall and on a XXL enduro bike, the geometry just didn’t play nice.
